Copenhagen
11am Cold Dip #1: Little Siberia’s ‘urban garden’ in Copenhagen. With fire-heated hot tubs, saunas and most importantly big cold plunge tubs. This overlooks the old industrial shipyard and was called Little Siberia by the old ship builders, because it was the coldest place on the whole island. Included: • Private heated changing room for each booking. • Access to the cold tubs. • Service of cold drinks from the bar while enjoying the sauna. Until further notice you can bring your own beer or wine to the area (water and sodas are sold so these cannot be brought). Stop for lunch as you walk through the city to the King’s Garden, established in the 17th century, with tree-lined paths & pavilions. ‘Kulturnatten’ (Culture Night) - the biggest one-day event in Copenhagen. Once a year, the city opens up after dark and invites the public into a wonderful world of infinite and unique experiences to explore the city in a new light. You’re ticket is included, which covers public transport in Copenhagen for the evening as well as access to all programmed events. Optional Extra Cold Dip: ‘Kastrup Søbad’ (Kastrup Sea Bath) - A boardwalk from the beach leads to this circular structure with seating around a seawater pool. This sits on over 4km of sandy man-made beach on an island with a lagoon, land & water sports, kiosks & cafes.
Malmo
AM Train from Copenhagen to Malmo, Sweden. Cold Dip #2: Traditional Swedish seaside sauna and cold-water swimming spot (a “kallbadhus”) located on the beach in Malmö, known for its wooden-fired saunas, separate male/female areas, direct sea access, beautiful views of the Öresund strait and Copenhagen, and a simple, refreshing wellness experience involving heat, cold plunges, and relaxation by the sea. • Wood-fired saunas • Cold Baths: Direct access to the cool sea for invigorating plunges after the sauna. • Separate Facilities: Gender-segregated saunas and changing rooms for traditional customs. • Stunning views over the Öresund, including the famous bridge. • A calm, local spot focused on simple, natural wellness, often described as a genuine Swedish experience. • Café for refreshments after bathing Free time for lunch: You can now explore Malmo with your day pass for the bus. • Explore the beautiful Castle Mill windmill and admire Malmo Castle. Walking around the castle grounds is completely free. • Gamla Staden (Old Town): Wander cobblestone streets, see the historic Stortorget (main square) with the City Hall, and enjoy the atmosphere at Lilla Torg, a cobblestone square with cafes, half- timbered houses and shops selling local handicrafts • Malmöhus Castle: Explore Sweden’s oldest Renaissance castle, now housing several museums. • Sankt Petri Kyrka: Visit the beautiful medieval brick church in the Old Town. • Malmö City Library: A unique architectural blend featuring modern and historic buildings, including the stunning “Calendar of Light” installation. • Moderna Museet Malmö: For modern and contemporary art lovers. • The World Famous Malmo ‘Disgusting Food Museum’ Wim Hof Method 1 hour session: Walking distance from the museum and Castle Mill, Instructor led session to experience the powerful Wim Hof Method breathing. Copenhagen
Autumnal walk in Jægersborg Dyrehave (Deer Park) (6.4km /1.5hrs): Nature Reserve with over 2,000 wild deer, plus woodland & a Baroque palace. The park was formerly a royal hunting park laid out by King Christian V. Enjoy sightings of free-ranging and fallow deer, as well as the beautiful Hermitage Castle, which was built between 1734 - 1736. The trail passes the following: • Bakken • The Wolf Valleys • The Hermitage Castle • Burial mounds from the Bronze Age Cold Dip #3: Now you are warmed up, time to brave a dip in the Øresund Strait (Øresund), the sea channel between the Danish island of Zealand and Sweden. This is the marine channel connecting the North Sea (Kattegat) with the Baltic Sea via the Danish straits. After a successful dip, you will be rewarded with a sauna session lasting an hour and a half before heading back to Copenhagen Centre via train for departure or an evening of free time and exploration.
