Your Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in Stavanger, Norway to meet your group and either take part in an optional excursion such as a Fjord cruise or explore the city at your leisure.
Day 2
Today we will be hiking Pulpit Rock (4km each way, 500m elevation gain) which will take approximately 4-5 hours. Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock), is one of Norway’s most breathtaking natural attractions. Rising 604 meters above the Lysefjord, this flat-topped cliff offers stunning panoramic views that attract hikers from around the world. The hike starts at a mountain lodge, which offers facilities such as a restaurant and restrooms. The hike is self-guided and moderately challenging, with rough terrain that makes appropriate footwear essential. The route is well-marked with red-painted distance markers and features stunning granite stairways crafted by Nepalese Sherpas. The trail features hilly terrain that traverses both forest and mountain landscapes.
Day 3
Today we will experience Northern Europe’s largest boulder field, Norwegian fjords, local culture, and history all in one day! We start in the morning with a scenic drive by the beautiful Frafjord, with a tea/coffee & Norwegian snack break fjordside, and a short overview into local history/cultural heritage. Afterward, we will drive into the UNESCO Geopark to Gloppedalsura and take in the majestic cliffs as we via ferrata through the boulders - the ultimate natural escape room! Then we will visit Byrkjedalstunet for lunch and sightseeing. We will return at approximately 14:30. At the end of today’s adventure, you have the option to either fly home later that day or extend your trip to our longer Norway adventure, which starts the following day.
